New shop: Southern Stationers at Providence Plaza
By Jen P
Today, I stopped by a new printing boutique in Providence Plaza (new shopping center at Providence and Sharon Amity) today called Southern Stationers. Actually, they have been around for a few years. Southern Stationers was created when the Junior League’s LeaguePrint Placement dissolved. I actually worked in LeaguePrint in my Junior League days and I loved the products that we sold. Three savvy women decided to continue this great service and sold primarily via home parties for a few years until opening this retail store in Providence Plaza.
What I like about Southern Stationers is twofold. First, they seem to feature a lot of local printing vendors. Now I’m all about supporting the many stay-at-home moms who branch out using their God-given talents. Second, Southern Stationers has built in the charity angle that stems from the Junior League beginning. If you host a party, you will receive a 10% discount and 5% of sales will be donated to your charity of choice. Actually, 5% of every purchase will be donated to charities. Love this!
They seem to have plenty of great national printing vendors like Stacey Claire Boyd, Sweet Pea Designs and many more. My favorite local vendors featured are Courtney Clark Designs, Periwinkle Papers and Tagums. Actually, Tagums is such a cute concept. They feature a zillion different drawings of little girls and boys so you can customize your cards/labels/tags to look like your child or family. So presh! One cool gift idea that I have and love is an address stamp by PSA Essentials. Such cute fonts and a clever round design that is so fun!
Southern Stationers is located at 2935 Providence Road, Ste 207, Charlotte, NC 28211. 704-442-7428

I also used Southern Stationers for my daughter's birth announcements. They came to my house and brought samples and were just great. I highly recommend them!
